Overview
Ash (Fraxinus mandshurica) from the Russian Far East is a close relative of American white ash — light cream to pale brown, straight grain, excellent shock resistance. Widely used in the US for tool handles, sports equipment, chairs, benches and kitchen cabinetry. Sold on international markets as TAMO ash.
