Overview
Yachidamo oak panels are produced from Quercus mongolica (Mongolian / Russian white oak) sourced from FSC-certified forests in Primorsky Krai. Slow growth, tight rings, and low natural moisture make it exceptionally stable — a proven fit for US kitchen and furniture manufacturers used to American white oak.
From the winter forest
We harvest in the depths of winter, when sap is down and the ground is frozen — logs come out cleaner, drier and less prone to staining. Every log is measured, graded and tagged in the concession before it leaves for the mill.
