Brief
A hospitality client specified a solid TAMO ash top for a communal 12-seat restaurant table. The brief called for a finger-jointed panel (cost-efficient, dimensionally stable) with clear varnish so the ash figure would stay visible under heavy daily use.

- 40 mm thickness · A/A grade · MUF glue
- 900 × 3200 mm finger-jointed panel
- Kiln-dried to 8 ± 2 % MC
- Clear water-based varnish finish, three coats
Why TAMO
TAMO ash (Fraxinus mandshurica) has a Janka hardness of ~5,900 N — enough to shrug off restaurant abuse — while its light straw colour and dramatic grain give a "furniture-first" look no engineered top matches.
